The exchange rate Novotel Yangon Max forced on me, at the very early hours on Monday, was absurdly expensive and I confronted them with the rate of the other Myanmar Accor property that very same weekend.

Novotel Yangon Max informed they were correct and suggested the other property was in the wrong. Later on, they corrected that previous info and informed they were using Monday's exchange rate. I argumented that exchange rate markets, for the new week at the early hours, were not open yet not even in Asia.

Novotel Yangon Max simply did not care to answer back.

This is an additional reason I do not consider Novotel Yangon Max to be a four-star property. They do not care with the customer, it is simply their way.
