I would go for 32" Salsa Delux 3 Suiter if I were you to travel with your partner. You might also want to take into consideration that price of 32" sometimes can be lower or same as 29" due to airline baggage restriction.

I have done some search online about the Topas and the collective opinion seem to be that it'll get some damage no matter what. I am a little concerned about the Salsa equivalent though as I've seen some crack pretty bad. I can live with a few dings and scratches but something as severe as a crack is something else. Would you recommend going for a 32" Salsa? Really appreciate the suggestions.
