So I don't think I've ever rented from Hertz before (can't remember) but am a "gold" member and have the Amex Plat linked to my account. My rez for OGG says "Gold Canopy". Couple of questions:

1) Keep reading first time renters must confirm at counter and can't do canopy service. If rez says "gold canopy," can I?

2) I confirmed with Hertz chat that gold members can have additional driver at no cost. If spouse is the additional driver, do I need go to counter or can I do canopy?
