You can bypass the airport check in using online check in and get a BP from the transfer desk but if you have checked bags that are not tagged all the way to JRO then you will have to claim them. AFAIK there is no service that will claim your bags and recheck them for you. As I said before, you can try have them interlined by SAA check in but there are no guarantees they will do this.
