So I have been Diamond for two years.. and knew that I was going to be downgraded because I didn't get enough stays .. but I wasn't sure to what level. I wrote to Customer Service and was told that I would be downgraded to Gold. Fine. But on 1st April, I was surprised to see that I had been downgraded to Silver. So I wrote back to CS and forwarded the respective correspondences between the previous CS and I that I was to be downgraded to Gold. But no, they say, I'm to be downgraded to Silver.
Fine. I was however offered a challenge to do 5 stays by 30th June to get Gold. I did and managed my 5th stay on the 26th. The last stay still had not posted, and when I signed into my HHonors account a day later, I was shown....
You're 1 STAY to DIAMOND
on the main page when it should actually have said, "1 stay to Gold".
So this confused me so I wrote to CS and asked...what its all about and if I was signed up to the Diamond challenge without my knowledge.
CS wrote back and said, no, I was only offered a Gold challenge of which I have completed. But since the page flashed on my screen in error, he will upgrade me to Diamond and it will be valid till March 2019.
So , thank you... HHonors "Goddess"... I was aiming to get my Diamond membership back again eventually, and am just grateful for this !
