interesting discussion on this last page. Last year when I stayed at a Sheraton in Orlando and opted for MAGC they did pick up trash daily. This time, nothing (they didn't even enter the room). The exact wording of the T&C seems to indicate that we're declining full housekeeping which means to me that we DO get very limited service. By the third day of MAGC, I had to go down to the front desk and ask for toilet paper. No big deal but kind of weird in my book. Maybe my experience last time seemed more "normal" or appropriate (i.e. housekeeping does a really quick check of trash, water, TP & toiletries but doesn't touch linens or make beds) but reading here has given me a new perspective on what Starwood wants to accomplish as far as staffing and saving money on service (not just on water and detergent).
