I know it is going to be perfectly safe either way, I just hope it is perfectly safe upstairs in a 747 and not a replacement aircraft. A truly once in a lifetime opportunity. Well, twice in a lifetime since I have it on the way back too.
The only slight concern I have is if there is a Mx delay/diversion that would impact my connection as NRT is not my final destination. The following flight is on DL though so I know they'd take care of me either way.
