I checked out recently, and this is my new favorite hotel in Chicago. The rooms and common areas are just a notch nicer than the Conrad, and the food/beverage venues and elite recognition are better than the Waldorf. Warmly welcomed as a diamond member and upgraded from king to king corner studio. It was a great room with 3 walls of windows and a swivel tv in the middle of the room between the sitting area/desk and bed. Breakfast is on the 21st floor (indoor floor) of the rooftop bar. It says it is "continental" which is actually a full buffet with 2 types of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, avocado toast, brisket toast, etc as others have mentioned. I went up to the rooftop bar/restaurant a few times and had a good experience each time. Good service, cocktails, and food. The check-in clerk said that diamonds get to skip the line if there is one. Housekeeping also left a new loofah each day which was a nice touch and something I haven't seen at any other Hilton hotel in the states.
