Assuming you have an onward BP, you can choose any transfer area to go through.
I'm partial towards the transfer desk nearer to gates 60-70ish, as that tends to be a little remote and further away from the crowds. Everytime I pass through that transfer desk, there's 0 people, and the security officers snap to attention. Makes you feel like a VIP
If you have lounge status, using that transfer area pops you right out where the most-excellent The Pier lounge is.
