When will this be a problem? At the time of booking or travel? We will be married by then. The other option is that SO book her flight separately with KE - she also has about 100K. Might have to worry about KE having two award flights on same flight if booked separately.

Sorry, I didnt quite get 50% piece. Do you mean, i could get 2nd ticket for 50%?
If all things work, I am thinking I could do UA/EVA one way and KE the other way.

Adding my 2 cents as I recently just booked JFK-DPS myself -- KE is for sure economical and has a lot of award space, BUT the arrival time in DPS is after midnight, and there's only 1 flight option. Depending on where your hotel is, it's going to be about 2-3am by the time you're settled in. Not sure if that'd matter to you, but something to keep in mind. Other airlines all have reasonable mid-day arrivals.
This is helpful to know! I have not booked the hotel yet, getting in 2-3am isnt the most convenient but not a deal break either. Any other recommendations/things to consider for KE?
