The announcement was buried in the Saturday edition of the Houston Chronicle in March I believe. I understand they are blaming the Houston Airport Commission as the terminal at EFD needs to be replaced and they would have to foot the entire bill. Why the airport commission would pay to improve the parking lot and start the process to charge for parking if this decision was in the offing - I have no clue. The word from the Gate agents is that it is a done deal. The best we could hope for is a bus shuttle up to IAH, something like the Harrisburg PA shuttle (or some town up there may be Wilkes-Barre) to EWR. I'm with emailkid in that I would have to start looking at other competing airlines I have spent over $100K in the last 3 years and this year 2 Int'l and 2 Canadian trips and expect more Int'l travel...
