It clearly says that miles are available for any hotel booked through this service. I booked a hotel and made the stay. The miles never posted. I complained to Delta and they first said that I need to go to the hotel to ask for the miles. This was crazy as the hotel that I stayed at was a small hotel in Bangkok and they probably don't even know that Delta airlines exists. I then sent in another complaint and this time the reply was that the hotel that I stayed at is not a Delta airlines partner and therefore I am ineligible for any miles. This was even worse than the first reply as the site clearly says that any hotel on the list which is reached through Delta.com is eligible. Now I don't know what to do to get the miles posted.

Anyone have an idea? I would suggest that nobody every use these airline hotel booking portals if you intend to get any miles as they just open up a can of worms and if the miles do not post you just get finger pointing and ridiculous information from the airlines.
They still have to award miles. If the property gives them you get them. If not then you don't. All DL is doing is the same as Orbitz/Expedia, acting as a TA.
