Amtrak will be cancelling its next generation Acela order and returning the Metroliners to service. The Metroliners are promised to have new interiors with in-seat entertainment (featuring satellite TV & AVOD) but Amtrak will go back-and-forth over the next 5 years whether or not to implement this.
