Stayed for a weekend earlier this month - chosen because of its proximity to a Tube station, and west of Central London so easier to get to LHR. It seems like the renovation is done, I didn't see or hear any hotel construction while I was there (although a new building is being built across the street. I didn't hear any construction noise from across the street, but they might not have been working over the weekend). Just a silver member, so no comments on the lounge.

Front Desk - was fine enough at check in, no problems with my reservation. They were also doing a little "Elite Appreciation Month" special, where you open an envelope and get a ticket for a small prize - I ended up with a Marriott-branded smartphone screen cleaner. A little gimmicky, but it was a nice surprise.

Room - I was on the 3rd floor in a King bedroom. Sounds a lot like nobbyclark's description (pic below). No work desk, but there's a sizeable round table with a work chair and a larger comfy chair. Outlets in the wall by the table have UK, EU, US, and USB sockets which I appreciated.

One possible negative was that I was on the side of the main street, which apparently is used by emergency vehicles at night - I could see flashing lights go by if I didn't close the curtains and could hear the alarm too. (It didn't bother me, I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, but I could see others getting bothered by it).

Wi-fi was generally ok, good enough to stream videos during sometimes, but slowed down a bit at night (when I assume more people were using it). Forgot to do a speed test though.

Bathroom - seemingly much better than reports from a few years ago. Walk in shower, no drainage problems (Pic below).

Gym/Pool - Confirmed that it's still in the health club next door, but I didn't try it out.

Bar - Did one evening meal & drink in here. Was ok, though it seemed like 1 staff member was new and the other was more experienced and she asked him for help several times. Wasn't too busy though, only 2-3 other parties in there while I was eating.

Area - It's in the borough of Camden, almost on the border of Westminster. Seems like there's a lot of ethnic cuisine in the immediate area (tried out a good Thai place down the street). 5-10 min walk from the Tube and overground, 12 min walk from the Abbey Road studios. Starbucks 2 minute walk away. Definitely located in more of a neighborhood area and less of a touristy/Central London type hotel, but sometimes I like that on my travels.
