I haven't noticed any difference, so I'm not sure it applies to BR. Wouldn't be surprised if true, though - it's widely accepted to be true on other carriers like CX.
But on CX they actually speak English. On BR it would be painful.
Yea, the purser asked to stow my bag, but I could hear her a bang as she settled it in the overhead (there was a camera in there). Definitely a fail. Though cameras are pretty resilient and it wouldn't hurt it, it doesn't sound nice.
