Yes, completely unreasonable, but that's QR "customer service".

I assume they won't allow you to change your origin from LXR until 3 days prior because you have booked with a TA.

Or maybe they have changed the "rules" again, as I was able to change my destination to BEY from HBE a couple of weeks ago for a flight next month. However this was a business class ticket booked directly with QR.
