I flew San Diego to LHR on Thursday Evening last week, when the drinks trolley arrived i mentioned to the Steward i would like some DF, namely Bombay Sapphire and some Cigarettes. For some reason it took most of flight to arrange paying for this, in fact we were down to the last 30 mins when became insistent on paying. Anyway when my order arrived it was Gordons Gin and not the Bombay i had asked for...... i was a little disappointed.
On disembarkation the steward who i originally placed my order with said to me " Ohh did you buy the Gordons, I bought the Bombay and there was only 1 bottle on board"
Just wondered who gets first choice on the DF, paying customers or Staff? I'm not sure if i should take this up with BA or not.
