Here is a list of NA airlines that are OBVIOUSLY better than AC for most of the pax.

Southwest? No. Porter? Maybe - Porter has 34" pitch because they fly out of YTZ which is the same reason the Q400s on AC Express have 34" pitch. It is not out of the kindness of their CEO.
The other airlines - yes, I would agree with that.
