Stayed on the Conrad

Sorry in advance for grammar errors and inconsistency -- this is my first review.

Okay, sorry for my late reply, I was still on vacation. Now I stated that I stayed at the Conrad Osaka from 9 to 12th. I am a gold member. (This is my experience) There was the floor lobby where I was approached, my bags were taken and then I was escorted to the check-in counter where the escort stayed with me the whole time. Upon walking in to the check in lobby(which is on the highest floor) The view is absolutely beautiful, and stunning art work everywhere. The place is elegant, and I enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel very much. I do not really have pictures, as I am more of a person to just look, admire, then remember.

Now the check-in process was smooth, but because my days were basically 3 separated reservations, it did take a little extra time. Now to note, the staff were of course very friendly, and the person that was escorting me was still present. I of course inquired about getting an upgrade, but to no avail, simple because of the fact it was the first night -- executive floor was booked. Also put into perspective I did not get there at the time of check-in, as I was at Nara prior to going. So, this could have of played a factor.

So, after I got my key to a non-executive floor 36 I was still being escorted by the same person, who basically explained everything to me on how the room worked, breakfast, spa, and etc. One thing I did realize was unlike the Conrad Tokyo, there was no book explaining the operations of the hotel, everything was on the television, with 4 languages to choose from.

Now for the room, it was a basic room 50sqm, very satisfying. Using Aromatherapies Associates London(the same as the Conrad Tokyo), I will try to describe the room the best I can. You walk in and immediately to the left is the toilet room(the bathroom is separated), with a red piece of art work directly infront. Then make a right down a hallway, you a greeted to a spacious room(I got a king size bed). The first thing you notice is the amazing view. You are simply towering over everything around you. Even multiple hotels located nearby do not even come close to the sheer difference in height.(you will realize this when you check in, the builing this hotel is located in is quite tall approx 200m) Now, the bathroom included a rainfall shower, and the standard handheld showering device I have seen in all Japanese hotels. Also a nice sized circular shaped tub. I did not get the opportunity to take a bath unfortunately.

Now, I might use a full paragraph itself on the lighting system, as I was quite impressed. It uses a touch screen device for the lighting, clock, everything. From opening the blinds, closing the blinds, controlling the temperature, and the airflow, to setting the alarm for the clock. The system is very easy to understand, and is very convenient. It feels nice to have everything at the fingertips of the touch screen device, instead of playing around with the wall and or looking for the controller to the temperature. This feature was very impressive. For those of you wondering, there were also plenty of outlets in my room, therefore, I would never complain unless you have 10+ devices you need to plug in at once. The wifi was complimentary and connected like a charm. I did not even need to enter a password or anything, it automatically contected throughout the whole hotel -- this was an amazing convenience.

Lastly, as I an running out of time. There was no stuffed animal in my room, however, i did receive a plastic see-through duck with a key inside placed on the bed. I have never seen a duck like this at a Conrad property, so I am wondering if it was exclusive for being there on the firsr night or to the property itself.

I can definitely write more, as I went to the spa and the pool, and experienced the breakfast(at the restaurant of course).
I alologize again for the inconsistency in my writing, this is my first time.
Also if someone would like to look at the video I took of the room then please let me know, I will upload it to youtube. Sorry once again.
