+1, this is how I feel as well.
I received a response from LX customer service and now I am more confused. They say "According to our Zurich Maître de Lounge, access to the First Class lounge is possible when travelling in First Class on flights that are marketed (coded) as SWISS. The ticket stock is actually of no consequence in this situation; rather, the flight number must be a SWISS (LX) flight number, whether it is operated by SWISS, or operated by a partner airline and coded with a SWISS flight number." My boarding pass only has the LX41 flight number, not the UA one, although I did buy it on United's website so the ticket starts with 016. Another tidbit about our trip was we were initially let in the lounge and then kicked out a few minutes later, so I cant be sure what the exact trigger for the "delounging" was.
heres one of the tickets so you can see there is no UA flight number.
