I had two separate tickets (each with a different FF#) - AAA to BBB & BBB to CCC, with the second flight connecting to the first.
I asked the stupid AI check in staff to check me & my bag through from AAA to CCC.
They spent almost two hours to complete the process (by trying to merge the two PNRS or something like that - I dont know for sure since I only overheard parts of their conversation) - and finally gave me boarding passes without any FF# since the flight was closing. When I reached BBB, the local staff there entered my Krisflyer number for the BBB-CCC flight and printed out a new BP showing my KF#.
But that was about 10 days ago and no miles have show up. Hence my remark about "incompetence of staff" - you have to see AI in action to understand how incompetent they are.
