Just went online to see a booking I made for YVR-YUL back on April 15 on the 787 for travel July 7. Booked with my flex flightpass. Chose seat 12C.
Now I have been tossed out of that seat and put in 19H. Called AC and was basically told too bad 12C is now PY. Really crappy of AC not to grandfather in seat selection made before they decided to rename the cabin. Even worse not to have advised me and I had to find out on my own.
Per AC's own press release they will upgrade you by July 1 to the PY cabin. According to some other posters in this thread the process has already begun... so I would call back and push through, since your flight is quite soon.
Although it might be something to do with the flight pass?
