I just experienced this for the taxes and fees associated with an Aeroplan redemption. The charges showed up as "pending" charges on my CC account for a few days but have now disappeared (and never posted).
My flight is in a week and still shows as confirmed and ticketed on both AP and AC's websites.
Do I need to worry?
