Note that there are a few aircraft types where the exit rows are considered Comfort+ instead of preferred, particularly some 757 and 767 types, so you'd want to avoid those as you wouldn't have free access to exit row seating on those aircraft. The Delta Connection E170 and E175 also don't have an exit row so those are also less desirable.
