I just had a look at the Rosewood site, from it's beach. Still plenty of work to be done. Patong is visible from the beach, but probably it would not be visible from the rooms. I was there around 4.30pm and the beach was completely unswimmable due to tide levels. It was also full of rocks and boulders. I have some pics, but struggling to insert them.
