Revenue booking made online, using some Avios in part payment to reduce the cash sum, and then cancelled online within the 24 hour cooling-off period.
BA have refunded the full, gross sum to the credit card, and not returned any Avios.
What's supposed to happen here - is this intended, or should the redduced cash + Avios be refunded ?
If that's the case, is this a badly-programmed auto-function, or has the refund been wrongly proceeded manually ?
Finally, what's the process for getting this corrected ? The booker would prefer the Avios back, rather than the extra cash.
