Where to sit on 788 in Y or Y+/MCE

Hi, I usually fly NZ but am using up some AA points to fly LAX-AKL on AA83 in a couple weeks. Any advice on where to sit in economy? I'm not sure what it will cost me on an Economy AAnytime fare to get Y+/MCE but would probably do it as I'm over 6'.
