Yes, I'm sure at least the toilet is separated by a door. My complaint is when the dressing/vanity area is not separated by a door, one person can't sleep while the other gets showered and dressed. It's always been an indicator to me of a less than full service hotel, although the HR San Francisco Embarcadero has that same annoying feature in many of its rooms.
