How do referrals work? The wife got a SW card earlier this year. She got an email that she can get 5k points up to 50K for referrals each year.

Now that that the card bonus is 60K, I am considering it. Will she still get the 5K referral and me get the 60K bonus?

I ask because I just received a letter/offer for SW card for 40K points and $100 statement balance. So it sounds like there are different offers out there?

I have not gotten a letter for 60K. I've only seen that on the SW website.
