Hilton Anatole - Good location for business meeting with some caveats
Introduction Good hotel for meetings on the same premsis. I would avoid rooms in the atrium building if at all possible (noise polution if a lot of people are gathering downstairs). The hotel is generally very well maintained and the staff know what they are doing, so it is definintely a place I would receommend. I've never used the pool or other facilities (three stays, all for meetings there), so I cannot comment on them. The hotel is spread out, and there enough bottle necks to warrant pointing it out. If you are a meeting planner, you need to give plenty of time between sessions and/or meals. Check In Easy - Did it via the app. I did stop at the front desk for meeting-related materials. The check in staff are nice, and efficient. I will say that I was assigned the room type I reserved, but my colleague who reserved the same as me was assigned a suite. I am diamond, he doesn't have status. It's not that I expect an upgrade, but that stood out to me. Room The rooms are nicely appointed and spacious. The bathrooms are nice in size and have a nice shower. As with many hotels, some of the power outlets are so worn that some power adaptors will not stay in the slits. There are some outlets next to the bed, but they are on the base of lamps (so bulky adatpers may not fit). There is a desk/work area that is ample in size and comfort. The wifi kept briefly dropping, and unlike Marriott, you have to sign back in daily. This is a problem with Hilton in general, it seems to me, but it was not worse at this hotel than other Hiltons. It does make working a bit more challenging, however. The digital key (phone app) went wonky on day 3 of 5; even my back up key (regular room key) stopped working. Three times. I sense it was not the app, but rather something else because it impacted the regular key, too. I did work with the hotel via the app (sorta like text messaging) and they were very responsive. This was great as the hotel is spread out and it would have been too much time to go to the front desk. I highly recommend avoiding the atrium rooms due to the noise, especially the rooms overlooking the main atrium area (bars, gathering spots, etc).
