Maybe I'm thinking of benefits only extending to the room the member is in.

I'm wondering how the hotel knew she was homeless. As long as she was clean and behaving the hotel shouldn't have had an issue providing the guy had the room backed up with a credit card (if there were any damages they were covered). The guy was the one that put himself at risk if there was any damages done seeing his credit card would get charged.
Points awarded on two rooms on one folio. Tomorrow I will check into a third room and AFAIK I can book all the rooms I want since hilton.com asks you how many rooms you want.

Yes it seems like the hotel took it upon themselves to decide that guests need to be screened. I mean when my daughter shows up tomorrow she should be allowed to stay in the hotel no questions asked right?
