In these cases, I like to know how much the breakfast will cost if we actually pay for it, and whether it makes more sense to pay the room + breakfast rate. So here is my question: why is it so freaking difficult to find hotel breakfast rates online? Professional photos of the breakfast buffet? Sure, those are easy to find, but how much the breakfast actually costs? I've been reduced to literally tweeting the hotel to find out.
Am I missing something?
A lot of hotels include breakfast for all guests -- but this is more common in some markets/market segments than in other markets/market segments.
In the US, for example, the higher end hotels tend to charge extra for breakfast; but the lower end hotels tend to include some breakfast for all guests.
