The last 2-in-1 machine I used took 8+ hours to dry one load of laundry. Definitely not fun.
I have no need for the cooking/refrigerator part of the room, so I'm going all in on this room type just to do laundry. Bad move? Also, I see this suite does not convey club access (spire ambassador here)?

I've used the one in our room earlier this year. They worked fine. The hotel even provides small detergent packets.
They're much smaller than a typical washer/dryer. I'd say maybe half to 1/3 "normal" size. But they took about the same amount of time as a "normal" washer.
We were upgraded to this room because the TV and internet went out on our floor, so it was a nice surprise to be able to do laundry. It was an enormous room by Japanese standards (or by any standards, really).
I'm Plat Amb and didn't get club access.
In the past we've gone to the Hearton Hotel (walking distance) to do our laundry in their coin-op machines. I don't know if they still allow non-guests to use their machines. 300Y wash, 200Y dry.
