Why is it so hard to find breakfast prices at hotels?
One of the benefits we talk a lot about here in relation to status or certain rates is whether they come with breakfast. I usually ignore such discussions, since neither I nor my fiance eat breakfast (neither of us is ever hungry in the morning). However, sometimes I travel with a friend who does eat breakfast, or want to have it myself because I know I have a long trip ahead of me and will need the sustenance. In these cases, I like to know how much the breakfast will cost if we actually pay for it, and whether it makes more sense to pay the room + breakfast rate. So here is my question: why is it so freaking difficult to find hotel breakfast rates online? Professional photos of the breakfast buffet? Sure, those are easy to find, but how much the breakfast actually costs? I've been reduced to literally tweeting the hotel to find out.
Am I missing something?
