You could ask the Marriott if you could pay to store the luggage there. I suspect that they would be likely to agree, especially if you can join Marriott Rewards before your trip.

I did that once when I had several hours to kill in a city. IIRC, the hotel didn't even charge me, but I tipped when I picked up my bag.
