JAL is not being helpful at all. I even called the headquarter.

1. They cannot tell you why the miles are not credited correctly.
2. They cannot guarantee miles will be credited.
3. They don't know what's wrong with the system and they are conducting an investigation.
4. They tell you post flight credit can take up to 4 weeks so you have to wait. Sorry for your inconvenience but no reason needed to be given (but why is that my fault when the membership # is correctly listed on the boarding pass? It did not need to go to post flight credit at the first place, and I as a consumer is punished because of JAL's IT failure).
5. If the miles get posted it will be for 01JUN but status will not be retroactively granted for flights taken during the so-called investigation even though it's their system problem.
6. They say they need to further investigate with AA on what my ticket actually credits, and they won't tell me what they need to investigate. They will not even agree to a three-way calling with AA. No idea what they are investigating.
7. Everything is going by the system, they cannot manually credit (yea right? They even audit accounts periodically and add/remove things they deem necessary).

I plan to file a dispute with DOT and BBB if JAL does not credit the correct bonus miles because of their own IT failure with AA. Utter failure on JAL IT and SOP.
You will need to be patient and wait for the result of the investigation. Due to legal reasons, I wouldn't expect them to promise anything at before investigating the issue.

Also, why did you wait till the last minute for the FFP change? That's just asking for troubles and flying AA coded flights just further complicate the problem. Did AA say you need to contact JL for the credit? Did you ask if they can post the miles automatically when they remove those miles from your AA account?

If you remove your JMB # from your flights till your elite status have been reflected in your account and then file a post flight credits, will FLY ON bonus be posted with those flights?
