Why does Westjet actually fly 737s into YQQ? Seems like a relatively small/out of the way airport for jet service.
Since WestJet started the Comox flights it has proved to be popular wth oil patch commuters and Albertans with second homes in the Comox Valley, leading to a real estate boom there until the current reduced oil price.
