I'd settle for Alaska being able to issue *any* type of ticket for a Web Special or Internet Only fare itinerary that has more than 4 segments.
Calls to the web help desk result in being told since the itinerary has more than 4 segments you gotta call reservations. Calls to reservations result in being told they can't handle (or even see) internet fares and you need to call the web help desk. So currently it appears Alaska can't sell tickets for 6 segment web specials on their own airline, which seems a bit ridiculous.
We ended up using Expedia and booked a web special with 6 segments, all for next Saturday, for a total of $155 each.
Now I wonder if Mileage Plan can handle crediting 6 segments from a single itinerary in a day.
Also, does anyone know if award itineraries containing more than 4 segments can be currently booked online via alaskaair.com? Or will such award itineraries run into the same problems?
