Such as? As others have pointed out, many of the *A airlines have done this, or have in some other way cut their service - A3 was actually pretty much the last European or Asian one to do so. Even on LH mainline, you'll struggle to find a fare at any sort of reasonable price that will actually credit miles to a FFP other than M&M.

It's a necessity to stay in business - have you seen some of the fares on the hops into ATH? A great number of them float around the 19 Euro mark. Fly the plane, give miles away, and give lounge access to all and sundry for that sort of money? Simply doesn't work.

A3 is a commercial entity making necessary commercial decisions. Welcome to the modern world of aviation.
