Funny that I am reporting on this hotel 6 years after the last post on this thread- which was also mine
Stayed last night for one night (I needed a stay to keep my MR points alive) and had a decent stay.
They are in the midst of another remodel. Lobby and second floor rooms are done and they look pretty good. Much cleaner design with wood and tile replacing carpet. New bed was very comfy. There is a small desk and a desk chair but no easy chair. Restaurant has been completely redone and is now am open concept living room/lobby/dining room set up. Breakfast buffet was good if somewhat limited

TV setup did not have a plug and play panel (really- in this day and age?) USB outlets near the bed did not work and a power strip was visible under the wardrobe which also holds a small fridge( which should be place inside the unit-there is a space specifically for it but they put it outside) which tells me this was a cheap refurbishment job.

Staff was very pleasant. I was offered a free upgrade to the full breakfast buffet without having to ask ( Plat. cert is for continental b'fast)and asked if I would like a 4 p.m. checkout. I was also asked if I wanted my welcome amenity of 500 MR points or a $10 F&B credit.

During the remodel the front desk offers elites a little game in which you reach inside a box and pull out a mini hard hat. The color of the hard hat matches up with various prizes. I won another 500 MR points.
All in all it is a serviceable property with an enthusiastic staff.
