Wow, I can't believe people are complaining about walking from C checkpoint to B gates airside. That's what, 2 minutes AND has moving walkways? And the extra 3 minutes to walk from the B end Priority counters to the C checkpoint landside? Please, give me a break. News flash: going to the big city airport involves significant walking.
One could check in at A-East, where the Priority counter is just under the checkpoint and Precheck is never more than 2 - 3 pax deep. I suppose the walk over to B might be too much for people's sensitive feet.
I'm glad they have a dedicated Precheck checkpoint at C. Nothing worse than having the orange shirts yell at you to get in the LONG line (mixed PC and non) down past the moving walkways at B, and only after you've waited with everyone else do you get to go into the Precheck line. (Exactly this happened to me with Mrs. pa3lsvt in February, we just walked over to A-East via the SEPTA station and used the empty Precheck lane there.)
The F redesign was always supposed to include Precheck; nice to see it finally offered there, even if the hours are significantly limited to just morning rush hour. Looks like I'll still be using D/E when I depart later in the day on a mini plane.
The Precheck hours at A-West are laughable - 1600 - 1700 only! Even if that is supposed to line up with international arrivals, is one single hour sufficient to cover all the arrivals?
Also, I noticed the B shows 24 hour TSA operation. My experience is that B is manned and available for exiting late at night (along with A-East, plus the automated "airlock" doors at D and E) but I can't recall seeing the checkpoint in operation after midnight for entries.
