There is a reason why A319, A320 and CR7 coach seats were renumbered several years ago (one of few good things that came from the merger). E170/175 came after that IIRC, bulkhead was already row 7.

If you can, see if you grab seat in first or second row. That way you will stay in FC in case of switch to E70 @:-)

Avoid 1B, the (potential) FAM seat.

Yes, they are still flying, saw one getting a boarding pass when I was changing planes the other day. Not very subtle in flashing a badge and signing a form in exchange for a boarding pass
