(In the past, I could get off the SEPTA Airport train at B, go upstairs, clear Pre-Check and be in the AC in less than 5 minutes. So much for that now. )
Well, if you don't need to go to the check-in counter, just now get off the train at C/D; same distance from that SEPTA stop to C security as from the B stop to B security. So it just adds the extra 2-3 minutes to go one more stop. Even if you have to go to Priority check in, the walk from Priority check in to C security is no more than 2-3 minutes longer than that to B security. And the AC is halfway between B and C security, so no loss there either. So very mildly annoying, but this wouldn't even warrant a thumbs down from me; just a new habit to learn.

Now, I thought that C never had pre-check before, so I've always gone to C security when my flight is out of either B or C. I think that may be based on a sample size of one: I went to C the first time I flew out of PHL when I moved there three years ago, found that there was no pre check, and have gone to B ever since. So if I've been wrong for three years and both B and C had pre-check before, this is a mild downgrade. But if it's just swapping precheck from B to C, no real change IMO.
