To put into several year old perspective.
3 and 4 years ago I booked several east coast to Asia flights via CDG on AF in their PE (which was not the post comfortable PE back then). If you could book into A class, you could do east coast US-CDG-Asia-CDG-another European city stopover-CDG-east coast US for $2200 to $2700. I did HKG and CPH, PNH and TXL, and SIN and KBP, and ICN and CDG, as I recall.
