That fact doesn't change my opinion. If you have to hide something from the person gracious enough to extend their employee benefits, you shouldn't be using those benefits.
Try flipping roles. If you were the Marriott employee, would you be okay with someone using your benefits without informing you? If you can answer "yes" with a clear conscious, then go ahead with your plan.
