The GM responded on TA saying in part "The Honors program does stipulate that when staying at a Hilton Garden Inn anywhere in the world, that Diamond members do need to choose to either select the points or complimentary breakfast 24 hours prior to arriving at the hotel."

Definitely curious to hear others experiences with this property.
