Glad to see this thread. I did a booking and finished everything, but it wouldn't complete
the reservation. I tried again on my SO's account and I was getting an error on my
Skymiles number. Then I called Platinum and went through a phone tree, only to have
an agent say "our computers are down. Please call back in an hour." Then she hung
up. So much for my brilliant idea of booking a few trips at off hours.
