I got an email about a
Deliveroo offer from BAEC about a week ago and haven't seen anything posted on here.
It seems an easy way to get a few bonus points particularly if you can convince a group in the office to get a delivery but the way you go about earning points is more than a little odd.
Here's what it says
You can now collect Avios on your next takeaway thanks to a new partnership with Deliveroo. New Deliveroo customers can receive 500 bonus Avios when they place an order for the first time and existing customers can receive 500 bonus Avios for every £100 spent with Deliveroo during the three month period. The offer runs from 1 June 2017 – 1 September 2017, available in selected areas of the UK, Terms and Conditions apply.
How to collect Avios with Deliveroo:
Download and log in to the Deliveroo app or visit deliveroo.co.uk.
When placing your order, please use promotional code AVIOSUK on checkout – this code only needs to be entered once.
Deliveroo will send you a unique code via email within 30 days of your order.
Visit Avios vouchers and enter your unique code to claim your Avios. Avios will then be awarded into your British Airways Executive Club account within 5 days.
I can't find a link to the terms and conditions. The instructions say you have to enter the promo code once and then within 30 days they'll send you a voucher code that you enter into a site to redeem Avios.
If anyone has tried it already do you know whether the 500 Avios for the first time use only applies if it's your first ever booking with Deliveroo or does it mean the first time you book it using the promo code?
Also if your first booking is over £100 do you get 1000 Avios for that booking (500 introductory + 500 for over £100 spend)?
