Need 220 TP before Sep 8th to reach Gold for the first time (not sure I'll be able to retain Silver next year thus reaching gold this year would mean 2 more years worth of Gold/Silver!!). So you'd get gold for one year, and silver for the next. So that's an extra year of lounge access when silver. For gold you get to use the first check-in, a few extra Avios, and if you have pots of them the ability to (and not being gold I don't fully understand what I'm about to say) double pay for redemptions where no normal redemption is available, or in some way open extra fare buckets for redemptions. How much will you fly and what value do you put on those features? If you don't think you'll make silver I'm going to guess not a lot of business travel, so the lounge access would be nice. Really it's a calculation only you can do. Good luck.
