Thats a pretty bad idea in more ways then one. OP, once you miss the segment to YYZ, the rest of your itinerary will be canceled, and if you want to have it re-instated, you're going to have to come up with a good excuse about why you missed it (a pre-arranged function time change isn't a good one, just for the record). You'll have to change it beforehand, pay the change fee, plus any additional miles needed.

As to if you try what It sounds like your planning, doubly bad idea because if he luggage. Getting that back is going to be a big hassle, at a minimum, and if it is even somewhat valuable to you, I would highly not recommend it.
